Richard Hopper, M.D., M.S., is chief of Plastic Surgery at Seattle Children's Hospital and surgical director of the Craniofacial Center. He is also service chief of Craniofacial Plastic Surgery at Harborview, a professor of Plastic Surgery at the UW division of plastic surgery. Additionally, he holds the Marlys C. Larson Endowed Chair in Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery.

Each day, Dr. Hopper counts himself fortunate to be able to work with children and adults with craniofacial challenges. He enjoys sharing his surgical training and experience with patients to help them overcome their challenges and regain confidence in their face.

Dr. Hopper completed his medical training at the University of Toronto and New York University. He was past president of the American Society of Craniofacial Surgery, past president of the Washington Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a council member of the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery.
