Bio:

I am from California where I did my undergraduate education at UC Santa Barbara, followed by medical school at UCSF. I completed my general surgery residency at UW and was lucky to be able to stay at UW for my abdominal transplant surgery fellowship.

Personal Interests:

Outside of the hospital I enjoy being outdoors. Anything from yardwork to camping or other adventures!

Liver and kidney transplant surgery
Living donor liver transplant surgery

UW is an amazing place to train because of the people that this center attracts, the diversity of disease we treat, and the can do attitude toward patient care.

What advice do you have for incoming interns?

Soak up as many experiences as you can, they will contribute to your repertoire of experience from which to draw upon.

What do you like best about living in Seattle?

Seattle is a beautiful city with so many things to do!
