Dr. Carlos Pellegrini has announced his retirement from UW Medicine, which will be effective December 31, 2018.

During his remarkable career, Dr. Pellegrini served as chair of the Department of Surgery for 23 years, and he has been UW Medicine’s founding chief medical officer for the last three years. In these major administrative roles, he has provided outstanding leadership and made numerous contributions to our mission of improving the health of the public. MORE
