I was born and raised in Shenzhen, China, and later spent a few years in Toronto, Canada for middle school before moving to St. Louis, Missouri for high school. For college, I headed to UC Berkeley, where I earned bachelor’s degrees in Bioengineering and Music. During my time at Berkeley, I had the unique opportunity to perform on the Sather Tower Campanile bells! I went on to complete my medical degree at Cornell University, where I was introduced to the field of plastic surgery—a specialty whose richness and transformative impact deeply resonated with me.

Classical piano, tennis, traveling, exploring new restaurants
