Bio:

I grew up in Pasadena, California. Before starting college, I served for six years in the United States Navy as an Aviation Rescue Swimmer. After my service, I studied biology at Boise State University. I then attended medical school at UW as an Idaho WWAMI student. During that time, I discovered my interest and curiosity for the operating room and caring for critically ill patients, which inspired me to choose general surgery. I am truly excited to continue my training at UW!

Personal Interests:

I enjoy playing my guitar, playing soccer, hanging out with my dogs, and tending to my many houseplants!

Clinical Interests:

Trauma and Critical Care

Why UW?

I attended the UW for medical school, and it was a wonderful experience. Throughout my training, I always felt supported, and the faculty genuinely cared about my growth and success. That supportive environment is a major reason I want to stay for residency. I look forward to caring for patients from the WWAMI region and continuing my training in a place that values great clinical care and strong mentorship.
