University of Washington
Bio:
I was born in Virginia but grew up in southeastern Idaho, spending summers on my family’s farm and riding horses. Through high school, undergrad, and my gap years, I worked as a CNA and EMT, where each experience reinforced my desire to pursue a career in medicine. I studied Exercise Science at Idaho State University in my hometown of Pocatello. At the University of Washington, I loved rotating across the WWAMI region and caring for diverse patient populations. Those experiences confirmed my path to surgery, and I’m excited for the opportunity to continue my training at UW!
Personal Interests:
I love to travel and explore new places, especially through coffee, food, hiking, and skiing!
Clinical Interests:
Trauma Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, Medical Education, and Global/Rural Surgery
Professional Activities:

American College of Surgeons
American Medical Association
Why UW?
UW stood out to me for the strong sense of support and community I experienced during my rotations as a medical student. Its broad catchment area across the WWAMI region offers the opportunity to care for patients from a wide range of backgrounds, aligning with my commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations. I’m also drawn to the strength of UW’s network and the chance to learn from faculty who are not only leaders in their fields but deeply invested in teaching and mentorship.
