When I returned, I served as a U.S. Marine officer in various roles in information operations and strategic communications, including a few training assignments in the UK and Norway and one deployment in rural East Africa. During my time in the military, I was accepted to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai on the military institutional partnership admissions pathway and joined the class of 2026. During M3 summer, I was selected as a medical fellow for the 2025 Fellowship at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics, where I developed an interest in ICU ethics and humanitarian intervention during conflict.
