Dr. Otway Louie Named Section Chief of UWMC Plastic Surgery

Dr. Otway Louie, Associate Professor, was named Section Chief of UWMC Plastic Surgery in August 2021. Dr. Louie served as interim section chief since January 2021 replacing Dr. Peter Neligan who held the position for 13 years prior to his retirement.

Dr. Louie specializes in reconstructive surgery including microsurgical reconstruction of the breast, head and neck.

His research interests include clinical outcomes in microsurgical breast reconstruction and improving clinical and functional outcomes in oncologic reconstruction.
