Bio:
I grew up in an agricultural community in rural Idaho. While studying Biology at Benedictine College in Kansas, I was encouraged by excellent mentors to pursue my interests in cancer research and medicine. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I returned to the Pacific Northwest for medical school at the University of Washington where I continued to explore my interest in oncology through CAR T-cell research. During my clinical rotations, I developed an appreciation for surgical and medical oncology. I am excited to join the Department of Surgery at the UW to further my training, and I am looking forward to collaborating with these outstanding individuals during my Radiation Oncology residency here at UW.
