Bio:
I was born in Pusan, South Korea and adopted as an infant. My early life was spent in various parts of suburban New Jersey. In 2014, I completed my undergraduate training at Geneva College near Pittsburgh, PA, majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. After college, I returned home for a year where I worked at a local painting company to save up money to cover MCAT and medical school application costs. I then attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx for medical school and, during the course of my training there, completed a research fellowship primarily focusing on facial trauma management and outcomes. After graduation in 2020, I completed my plastic surgery internship at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals. I now am excited to be able to continue my plastic surgery training with the University of Washington’s plastic surgery team here in Seattle.
