Noe, McKenna

Although I was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan (Go Lions!), my family moved to Southern California when I was one and I consider San Diego to be my hometown. I attended University of California, Los Angeles for my undergraduate education, making ends meet by grading papers for the math department and conducting bench research in an ophthalmology lab while obtaining my BS in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. I returned to the University of Michigan for medical school, and while there completed a one-year research fellowship with the Children’s Mercy Hospital Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
