Bio:

I was born in Moldova and spent much of my childhood in Spokane, Washington, experiences that shaped my perspective and sense of community. I attended Washington State University, where I studied Nutrition and Exercise Physiology, and later worked in strength and conditioning, developing an appreciation for human performance, resilience, and mentorship. I went on to the University of Washington for medical school, where I remained involved in mentorship and student initiatives, including the American Medical Women’s Association, and have been able to continue many of my research endeavors. I am excited to continue my training at UW and to grow alongside a community committed to learning, teamwork, and service.

Personal Interests:

Live music, solo travel, ice skating, skiing, Formula 1, and poetry writing

Why UW?

As a medical student at the University of Washington, I valued the breadth of patient populations we serve, from rural communities in Alaska to diverse immigrant populations in Seattle. I have also experienced UW’s commitment to excellence through my research work, and I am excited to continue training in a system that prioritizes both innovation and community impact.

What do you like best about living in Seattle?

Seattle offers the perfect balance of nature and city life, with easy access to the outdoors, a vibrant food and music scene, and a strong sense of community.
