Bio:

Here’s a smoother version that connects the second and third sentences:

I grew up in Saratoga, California, and went to UCLA, where I majored in Neuroscience and minored in Spanish. While in college, I worked as a registered drug and alcohol technician in a rehab facility, which sparked my interest in healthcare policy and how local legislation affects access to care. I earned my medical degree from UC San Diego, where I was involved in clinical research, volunteered at the UCSD Student-Run Free Clinic, and contributed to medical education projects. I’m excited to train at UW and continue developing as a clinician through the mentorship of faculty and the experiences I’ll share with patients.

Personal Interests:

Solo traveling, cooking, reading, playing trivia and crosswords

Why UW?

I chose UW for the strong training, supportive environment, and the opportunity to learn from such talented and dedicated people.
