I grew up in Bel Air, MD, and spent several years in New England for high school, college, and gap years before medical school. I played soccer at Williams College and majored in Biology. During medical school, I decided to pursue plastic surgery after observing a case at Shock Trauma Center. I took a research year at Johns Hopkins to explore various fields within the specialty including gender-affirming surgery, burns, hand, and rural plastic surgery. I’m excited to begin my training at UW!

Why UW?
On my sub-internship I was impressed with the clinical volume and breadth as well as the patient diversity at UW. The attendings and residents also prioritize both excellent patient care and education in a team-oriented working environment.
