Wang, Karissa

I grew up in a small town in Utah with my parents, older sister, and younger sibling. We did a lot of reading while growing up, and I still love picking up a good book although I find myself buried more often in textbooks these days! After college, I moved to sunny SoCal for medical school, where I discovered vascular surgery and came to UW for a visiting student rotation as an MS4. I was drawn to the program here because it truly pushes you and supports you in developing into a strong physician and surgeon.
