Bio:

A true Montrealer at heart, I was born and raised in Montreal up until leaving for Seattle this year for my Craniofacial Fellowship. I was privileged to do all my post-secondary schooling at McGill University (Bachelors, Master’s, Medical School and Plastic Surgery Residency).

Personal Interests:

My interests outside of medicine include detailing and modifying cars, cooking and sports (and anything any of my four kids are interested in!).

Clinical Interests:

My clinical interests include improving patient outcomes using 3D printing and Augmented Reality for the purpose of optimizing virtual surgical planning, operative efficiency/technique, and post-operative outcomes.

Why UW?

I chose the Craniofacial Fellowship at Seattle Children’s / Harborview Medical Center given its reputation as a leader in Craniofacial surgery, its world-renowned Craniofacial Surgeons who are truly leaders/experts in the field, as well as it being one of the only programs to offer training in both adult craniofacial trauma and complex congenital craniofacial surgery.

What advice do you have for incoming interns?

Residency is truly a marathon. There will be both ups and downs, but in the end, everyone ends up in the same place. Try to find a senior resident you wish to emulate, and spend as much time as you can with them!

What do you like best about living in Seattle?

Living in a town with a sports team in all the four major league sports (hoping to catch my first NFL game live!)
